Alien Skin stated that he deserves recognition for his journey in the music career, having started from nothing to reach the pinnacle of the music industry. He believes he is now one of the top artists who deserve respect. Alien Skin also shared that when he began his music career, he was entirely alone, with no family members in the industry.

Like many young artists, he started from the Ghetto and gained fame due to his unique music style. However, he disappointed NUP supporters by refusing to align himself with them, unlike many other artists who joined Bobi Wine in the fight for change against the ruling government.
